3 is a crowd, 7 is a ......................

I used to know this adage as a young girl; 3 is a crowd, 2 is a company. I am not sure in the real sense of it that 2 is a company, i am yet to see a company with just 2 staff. The essence of this is when is enough, enough. I work with a company where one of my job functions entails, we make a business presentation to prospective clients from time to time. My office has limited staff compared to the volume of work we do. Multitasking has been on the forefront since inception. We are kind of used to it by now, though it is taking its toll on me. Getting back to the gist, we had a presentation billed for Monday morning on the mainland, my office is on the island. We agreed to leave on time as you can't predict Lagos traffic, so our Monday weekly meeting was shortened to accommodate this. BJ decided the whole staff of the region should be present for the presentation, reason unknown. With the current fuel scarcity we took 2 cars to the venue. One getting there, there was no competitor in sight. When we were called in, the staff we shocked! The general consensus was we where more than their total staff strength. Can you imagine the embarrassment. Only BJ got to talk. So when is enough, enough. Ideally, how many people should represent a company at a presentation.
